What is Quantum Hypnosis
The type of Quantum Hypnosis currently being provided is QHHT, Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique, developed by world-renowned hypnotherapist Dolores Cannon. Dolores worked in the field of metaphysics, where science and spirituality meet, experimenting with this technique in the late 1960s as a form of past-life regression. Through thousands of hypnosis sessions over decades of work, Dolores fine-tuned the process to transform and heal the body. During a QHHT session, the practitioner uses visualization cues to bring the client to the most appropriate past lives that can provide insight and clarity into circumstances within their current life. The goal of this phase is to create a conscious link to current life issues and explore how past previous experiences impact the client’s current behavioral patterns, including mental and emotional influences.
During this type of session, we will connect with what Dolores refers to as the subconscious, also known as universal consciousness, the higher self, or oversoul, to ask for assistance in exploring several questions the client has brought with them. The subconscious can tap into the Akashic records to access data about an individual, as well as universal information about all past, present, and future outcomes and timelines. The information shares is that which is most appropriate for the individual and will never give more information than they can handle or their mind is capable of perceiving. The results include an infinite knowledge expansion of oneself and quantum healing on all levels for the client’s highest good.

How Quantum Hypnosis Works
What makes QHHT different from other types of hypnotherapy is the technique. Unlike most hypnosis techniques which work within the light levels of trance, the alpha brain-wave state, in QHHT, the practitioner induces the client to the somnambulistic state of trance, also known as the theta brain-wave state, which is the deepest state of trance.
Quantum physics has recently validated evidence regarding the power of observation over matter, where the material world is seen as a form of energy vibration. The connection of thoughts can change the outcome of matter through observation. Essentially, the evidence supports the notion that thought has a direct, measurable effect on matter. The thoughts we think, the emotions we feel, and the projection of energy we create dictate our reality.
The subconscious is always communicating with the conscious mind, otherwise known as the personality or ego. When communication goes unheard, ignored, or suppressed, or emotions carry over from past experiences, whether in the past from this lifetime or previous lifetimes, this can create dis-ease in the body.
In the theta state of trance, the subconscious can finally deliver messages and bring that which is unconscious to the conscious mind. The observation and examination of past lives allow emotional clarity and an understanding of the cause of reoccurring patterns, therefore providing freedom from the continuation to experience those repeated circumstances. Very often, simply understanding why an illness is present, the knowingness alone is sufficient for healing to occur, and the subconscious can remove the ailment.
What to Expect
QHHT sessions are divided into four parts:
- Interview Process
- Past-Life Regression (PLR)
- Q&A with the Higher Self
- Post-Session Debriefing
The Interview Process
The session will begin with an in-depth interview that can last 60 – 90 minutes, this is the client’s opportunity to share their experiences as to why they have come in for the session. The client will also provide a list of questions they’ve prepared to ask that they would like to gain insight from the during the hypnotherapy session.
As a practitioner, it is important to gain an understanding of important and meaningful people in the client’s life (both past and present), key life events, physical and emotional concerns, life questions, and decisions the client is seeking guidance on, whether it’s relationships, spiritual development, soul insights, life purpose, or reasons for trauma. The information provided will allow me to ask the most relevant questions during the hypnotherapy session to shed light on the aforementioned topics. Some examples of questions include:
Why did I choose to incarnate on the Earth right now?
Am I on the right path?
How can I make the most of this life?
What are the karmic influences in my relationship?
How do I avoid passing trauma to my children?
Is where I am living now the right place for me?
How can I heal from this experience I had?
What is the reason for the physical ailment I’m experiencing?
I’ve had contact with ETs/spirits/ghosts. What was the importance of that contact?
Past-Life Regression (PLR)
After the initial induction period to prepare for the hypnotherapy session, which may include a crystal healing, angelic healing, or other preparation to relax the client, we will begin regression process. During the past-life regression, the client will typically experience 2-4 past lives. The past lives in which the client is brought to are the most relevant to the current life, where information is appropriate for the client to gain knowledge and understanding.
This part of the session is a multi-sensory experience where the past life can take many forms. Each person’s experience is different, and it could be a simple life, a traumatic life, or a life that is unlike anything ever thought possible. Some clients have experienced past lives as plants, animals, elementals, exotic creatures only described in fairy tale books, or non-earthly experiences. Whether it be in physical incarnations or non-physical, anything is possible. It’s important to let go of judgments and trust the first response that comes to mind. Allowing the sensory details to become vibrant will deepen the experience.
Q&A with the Higher Self
After exploring the past life regression we will begin Q&A session with the higher self, also referred to as the subconscious, or oversoul. During Q&A, we seek to gain additional clarity as to why the past lives brought forward were selected for the client to experience. I will also begin asking for clarity on the pre-determined questions about the client’s life, relationships, purpose, or anything else the client wants to know that was discussed during the interview process.
In addition, we will discuss physical discomforts, ailments, and diseases, which often includes a “body scan” to review all physical aspects of the body and bring them into balance. It is at this time blockages and traumas can also be released, allowing emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical changes to occur.
It is important to note, healing cannot interfere with contracts or lessons created by the higher self before incarnating to the current life. In addition, if the person abuses or lacks care for the body and is not ready to change the behaviors that contributed to the illness or has no desire to change, the healing will not last long term since the lessons are still being learned and the illness will return.
It’s equally important to know that if the person is benefiting from being sick in any way, that can diminish the results of the healing. That may be a surprising concept to some that someone can benefit from being sick, but many considerations can affect each person’s circumstances.
The most amazing part of Quantum Hypnosis is that the client controls its success. Belief plays a part, readiness to change plays a part, and allowing the process to happen plays a part. For those who are ready, this can transform a person’s life tenfold.
For some people, their conscious mind takes a back seat while in the theta state, meaning they are more in a sleep state and may not be fully aware during the hypnotherapy session. For many, their conscious mind is still present and fully active during hypnosis. This tends to happen more to those who are left-brained, type A individuals who are more comfortable being in control. If the conscious mind, or ego, begins to interfere with the session, I may ask the conscious mind to recede quietly into the background or integrate an activity mid-session to ease the mind and allow the information to flow more freely. The best practice is to allow the experience to unfold and be open to receptivity. Try not to analyze, censor, or control your thoughts. The session is entirely confidential, and any thoughts, images, or words that come forward are essential and valid to the experience.
Post-Session Debriefing
After the hypnosis is complete and the client is brought back to the present, there is a post-session debriefing to discuss the client’s experiences and help ground and integrate the knowledge obtained. This is also a critical time when the client will gently return to the beta brain-wave state. Being in hypnosis can feel deeply relaxing like having a massage, it can also affect the vision temporarily making the vision a little hazy or blurry. So not only is it important to have the time post-session to reflect while the information is fresh, but to allow the body to return to an awakened state and the vision to regain clarity. In addition, drinking healthy fluids and eating grounding food will help move the energy through your physical body after the session.
Often, the client will not remember or recall some or all of the healing session, so a recording will be provided to the client. For the days, weeks, and months following the session, it is recommended to listen to the recording multiple times since additional information and insight to continue.
How to Prepare for the Session
Avoid alcohol the day before the session and limit the amount of caffeine consumed in the morning, as this can affect the induction process to achieve the theta trance state. The session will last approximately 3-5 hours, including the initial interview and debriefing portions, so it’s essential to eat breakfast before coming. It is also highly recommended to avoid meat and processed food as much as possible, as they are very dense and can lower the client’s vibration. Drinking water is important for hydration, but as the appointment time gets closer, start reducing water intake to minimize the need to use the restroom during hypnosis. Wear comfortable clothing, and avoid wearing anything constricting like belts, as well as apple watches, as this may interfere with the energy.
To help prepare for the hypnotherapy session, it may be beneficial to practice visual observations through guided meditations. There are many options for guided meditations online or on YouTube. For those interested, included for you below is a 40 minute Guided Visualization Meditation for Renewal, Transformation & Empowerment from Rising Higher Meditation. In addition you will find a link to their playlist on YouTube if you’d like to check out their other guided meditations or powerful affirmations.
Post-Session
After the session, clients may experience an “energetic detox” in the following days or weeks. Some emotions might be heightened where there could be a need to cry or laugh for no “apparent” reason.
In contrast, others may not experience any emotional changes but could get extremely tired (or even wired!) or perhaps feel like they have a cold. To help the energetic detox, it’s crucial to spend some time in nature, listen to the body, eat intuitively, flush the energy with fluids, and rest.
It’s also important to note that there could be a change in relationships and interactions. Things not serving the client’s highest good may fall away or change to match the new vibration and frequency.
Distance and Animal Healing
QHHT sessions are only completed in person. There are many QHHT practitioners located worldwide, so finding one within a commutable distance is usually achievable.
During a client’s session, it is entirely possible to connect with the soul of an animal and to request the subconscious to perform healing. This would be done through the client’s QHHT session.
